SMS Messaging Consent

A transparent overview of how Savemate uses SMS, how users opt in, and how to opt out at any time.

How Users Opt In to SMS Messages

Users opt in to receive SMS messages from Savemate by entering their mobile phone number during account creation in the Savemate mobile app. Phone number entry is required only for users who choose SMS-based two-factor authentication.

Consent is explicit β€” users must manually enter their number and tap "Continue." Consent is never pre-checked or assumed.

What Users See When They Opt In

The following disclosure is displayed to every user directly above the "Continue" button on the phone number entry screen. By entering their phone number and tapping Continue, the user provides explicit consent to receive the messages described below.

"By providing your phone number, you agree to receive SMS messages from Savemate for account authentication and login verification. Message frequency varies based on login activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. Reply HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service."
